Our Kindergarten Program day begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 3:30 PM.Curriculum
Students must be 5 years old by September 1st.
Kindergarten Families also have the option of the MMR CARES program beginning at 3:30 PM and ending at 5:30 PM for an additional fee. Please see the For Parents tab above for more information. Seating limited so please register early!
Mary, Mother of the Redeemer's Kindergarten Program follows the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools' curriculum. More information can be found here. In the fall of 2019, MMR began using Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's Into Math and Into Reading Programs.
Goals:
The Kindergarten Program in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia provides opportunities for Growth in awareness of God’s love as experienced in family, parish and community.
- Development of a positive self-image,
- Development of a social-interdependence with adults and peers
- Experiences which will enable the child to communicate effectively with others,
- Development of those motor skills which will lead to proficiency and coordination in action and movement.
